DEMAND CONFIDENCE

STRONG ISSUE SUPPORT

This Issue has meaningful public discussion or positive reactions, but evidence still comes from one repository.

Project strength and demand confidence are measured separately.
SOURCE EVIDENCE

Start with what users actually said

Reporter context: When using inter-agent messaging extensively it often happens that the message gets printed to the agent prompt, but return isn't sent or received correctly, leading the agent to hang and needing human tmux intervention to send the return to get the agent processing the message. Provider: Kiro CLIExcerpted from the public Issue. Read the complete thread before interpreting it.

CODING VALIDATION LENS

Recruit: Recruit contributors who can replay the problem in a representative repository and development environment.

Guardrail: Use a fixed test case and compare completion, regressions and recovery against the unchanged baseline.

01 · Interface & rendering

Write the problem hypothesis

For [user], the interface fails to expose or render [critical state or action], preventing [job] and causing [workaround].

You can name one user, one situation and one measurable consequence without proposing a feature.
02 · EVIDENCE INTERVIEW

Interview five developers or engineering leads

  • Show the exact screen and action where progress stops.
  • What did you expect to see?
  • Is the underlying data correct?
  • Which devices or browsers reproduce it?
  • What workaround is used now?
At least three people independently describe the same painful workflow with recent examples.
03 · MINIMUM TEST

Run the smallest experiment

Prototype one corrected interaction or rendering state and run five task-based usability attempts.

At least four of five users complete the target action without explanation and can describe the resulting state.Use a fixed test case and compare completion, regressions and recovery against the unchanged baseline.
04 · DECISION GATE

Make a build decision

  • Build: repeated pain and active commitment
  • Narrow: pain is real but the audience or job differs
  • Stop: weak frequency or no behavioral proof
Do not let GitHub engagement replace direct validation.

Why this brief exists

Information has value only when it changes action. This page turns one public signal into a bounded validation exercise. It is a research aid, not proof of demand, investment advice or a product recommendation.
