We scan public GitHub Issues for recurring requests, workflow friction and missing capabilities—then rank the strongest signals without hiding the original evidence.

A popular Issue can reveal real friction, but it does not prove willingness to pay. Use these leads for interviews, validation and product discovery.

FROM SIGNAL TO ACTION

A 3-step validation sprint

Use the evidence as a starting point, then verify the problem before building.

  1. 1. Read the threadIdentify who has the problem and the workaround they use today.
  2. 2. Contact five usersAsk about frequency, cost and what they already tried.
  3. 3. Test one narrow fixOffer a manual or lightweight solution before writing a full product.

The batch method from ChatModels and all the Runnables does not really support the OpenAI batch API.

Observed in langchain-ai/langchain · Python · MIT

What the reporter described: Checked other resources [X] I added a very descriptive title to this issue. [X] I searched the LangChain documentation with the integrated search. [X] I used the GitHub search to find a similar question and didn't find it. [X] I am sure that this is a bug in LangChain rather than my code. [X] The bug is not resolved…

Proposal: GuardrailProvider protocol for tool call interception

Observed in microsoft/autogen · Python · CC-BY-4.0

What the reporter described: Summary Propose a protocol that intercepts tool calls before execution, enabling policy-based approval, audit logging, and argument sanitization. This plugs into the existing and paths without breaking backward compatibility. Motivation AutoGen currently has no standardized hook point between an agent deciding to call…

[Feature]: Sign in with ChatGPT (Codex subscription) as an LLM provider

Observed in THU-MAIC/OpenMAIC · TypeScript · MIT

What the reporter described: Problem Self-hosted OpenMAIC users may already have a ChatGPT plan with Codex usage, but currently need a separately billed OpenAI Platform API key (or another provider). A "Sign in with ChatGPT" option would let them connect the entitlement they already pay for, without managing an API key by hand. Similar OSS…

[BUG] /api/agents returns HTTP 500 on malformed `limit` or `page` query parameter (regression of #1271 / #1007 / PR #1272 un-deployed)

Observed in Scottcjn/bottube · Python · MIT

What the reporter described: Bounty #1102 claim: Bottube /api/agents returns HTTP 500 on malformed or query parameter (5 RTC, functional tier) Bug summary and on return HTTP 500 with an HTML server error page when the parameter is a non-numeric string. Other shapes (negative, zero, oversized) silently coerce to a default. This is a regression:…

[BUG] /social/api/feed returns HTTP 500 for every request (broader than #4313)

Observed in Scottcjn/bottube · Python · MIT

What the reporter described: Summary Live re-verification at 2026-06-09T23:58+08:00 (just now) found that returns HTTP 500 with the in-app Flask 500 template for every request — including the documented happy-path inputs the source-tree test contract asserts. This is broader than the pre-existing ("BoTTube feed endpoints accept negative limits")…

Add Retrieve API/MCP

Observed in vectorize-io/hindsight · Python · MIT

What the reporter described: Use Case I know the original premise of this project was to move beyond traditional RAG, but the UI and overall system are far ahead of most other tools in this space as of 2026-09-16. It would be useful to use this system as a single home for documents while allowing AI agents to access that information in two ways:…

Provider support for custom/local OpenAI-compat endpoints (Codex + OpenCode)

Observed in nanocoai/nanoclaw · TypeScript · MIT

What the reporter described: Context NanoClaw's SKILL.md documents custom endpoints as an Option C — BYO OpenAI-compatible endpoint (experimental) path, and OpenCode's provider config has clear hooks for non-built-in providers. How opportunities are ranked

The evidence score combines capped, diminishing-return discussion, positive reactions, unresolved duration and the underlying project’s Radar Score. This prevents one repeatedly commented thread from overwhelming independent signals. Maintenance-only tickets, dependency dashboards, CI failures and release checklists are filtered out. Rankings are independent and never paid placements.
